  • SNAP/EBT

    BFM will redeem your SNAP benefits at the market booth to use with our vendors on eligible products. SNAP can be used to purchase freshfruits and vegetables, meat, fish, poultry, cheese and dairy products, eggs, baked goods, honey, non-alcoholic beverages, and breads.

    You select how much you’d like to withdraw from your account, then will receive SNAP tokens to use at market.

  • FreshConnect Checks

    FreshConnect checks allow you to double your dollar and get more healthy foods onto your table! Stop by the BFM booth to receive up to $50 in FreshConnect checks when you receive your SNAP tokens.

    FreshConnect checks can be used on the same products as SNAP.

  • Farmers' Market Nutrition Program (FMNP)

    The Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program (FMNP) helps make fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables more accessible to income-eligible seniors, WIC participants, and their families. FMNP participants receive checks that can be used to purchase produce at participating farmers markets across New York State.

    Look for farmers displaying the FMNP sign to use your checks and enjoy nutritious, seasonal foods while supporting local farms!

  • LG&T Market Greens Coupons

    Market Greens is a pilot program developed by BFM and generously sponsored by Levene, Gouldin, & Thompson. It aims to increase access to healthy, local foods for our food insecure neighbors. Unlike state-sponsored programs, Market Green are distributed with no questions asked and can be used the same day on all edible products, except alcohol.

    Two $10 coupons are provided to any customer in need. Stop by the market booth or send us an email to arrange pick up.

  • Broome County Veterans Coupons

    Veterans Coupons are distributed by Cornell Cooperative Extension of Broome County in partnership with the Broome County Veterans Services Agency.

    Local veterans are invited to receive $15 in farmers market coupons, which can be used at various farmers markets throughout the year. Veteran must be in attendance with proof of veteran status to receive coupons.

  • Veteran FreshConnect Checks

    Active Duty, veterans and/or family members (un-remarried or surviving spouses) should contact the Broome County Veterans Services office to receive $50 in FreshConnect checks to spend at the market.
